Although its just the third day of 2014 National Junior High Sports Game, students from Yunlin County have won 13 medals (including 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 3 bronze medals). Since theres no County-wise ranking the students are fighting for their own honor.
Soft tennis team has won 2 golden in both men and women team games. Jingrong Cai won gold medal from high jump two years in a row. Douliu Junior High won women tennis game gold medal 3 years in a row. Guanyu Lai from Douliu Junior High earned the fourth gold medal from 400 meters running game. The fifth gold medal goes to Qinqqing Li from Huwei Junior High in High Jumping game in the first day.
Xiaowen Qiu, Director of Education Department, Yunlin County Government said that "The role of coach is very important in wining the medals. In the future with the help from these coaches, we shall have stronger strength in sports".
Yunlin County won all the medals from women soft tennis games. The game will last until 24 of April. Qiu invite everyone to encourage players from Yunlin.
