Millions of runners participated on the annual 2014 High Speed Rail (HSR) marathon at Huwei. The Yunlin County governor Su Zhifen, who encouraged all participants to enjoy Huwei’s gorgeous downtown with a relaxing mind, notified their safety as a reminder.
The marathon, which took place at the National Formosa University (NFU) field, was held at 7:00 in the morning on the 16th. Before Yunlin County governor, Su Zhifen, pre-nominee of County governor, Lee Jinyong, governor of Huwei Towenship, Lin Wenbin, Headmaster of the NFU, Jue Wenyu, and the Legislator, Chen Ruixiong, fires rifles into the air, the competitors will actively perform a healthy running which assimilates marathon into their lives, pointed by Su Zhifen.
Competitors will run at a twenty-two and a forty-two miles marathon which is a big challenge to their body condition and patient as well. Hoping each competitor will get their wishful scores, said Su Zhifen.
Lee Jingyong, a pre-nominee of County governor, addressed that building a global running brand at the marathon is a tool to market Huwei. It also welcomes the Yunlin HSR stop in which shorten the distance among cities or townships.
Runners will pass through Dingxi Cat-community—the auspicious community at north creek—Huwei Universities and communities, experiencing the fun of sporting events and the charming downtown in Huwei.
Different types of tracks included a forty-two of whole, a twenty-two of half, and a five-mile relaxing run. Participants were over hundreds of millions, presenting Huwei as an active healthy town.
Not even close to 6:00pm, Huwei was already filled with millions of passionate runners who wish to experience sweatiness and healthiness altogether. All participants must worm up their bodies before running and enjoy the fun of running, reminded by the organizer.
