In date of 6th of July, the Yunlin County hosted ‘The First Date with Residence and the Magistrate’ to cautiously listen citizen’s complaints and hardships at its conference room in the customer service center. In the meantime, Magistrate Lee friendly communicated with citizens to solve each of their issue passionately.
Several problems were brought to the table such as the setting a platform for the Telecommunication firms in Sihu township; manufactures construction polluted living areas; and failure of water drain on the county road no.158 in Huwei. Cases were addressed and discussed with Magistrate Lee who cautiously listened and negotiated with each group of citizens.
Additionally to the case of Telecommunication firms, Magistrate suggested, that should the Economic Affairs Department be applying for the license of miscellaneous or that should the NCC be sent to evaluate the permit level of construction standards, the case will be initiated on the 17th of July.
Regarding living regions and pollution caused by construction, the Department of Land should hold responsibilities alone with law enforcements that well-explained to the party. Meanwhile, the Department of Environmental Protection will ensure whether the regional land is violated. On the other hand, the cost of fixing the failure of water drain on county road no.158 in Huwei will be cover by the Department of Public Works.
