To ease public’s concern on food safety, Yunlin County Government continues to supervise food safety for public health in an even more rigorous manner. The county expands the rating and certifying process of restaurant of excellence in 104th years, incorporating the soybean sauce quality certification mark, to better promote this local product of Yunlin.
To display government’s determination to safeguard food safety and in hope to provide clear consumer information for the public, the Yunlin County Health Department will be hosting, in the morning of 11/28 104th year, the “Carnival of Food Safety 104th Year” and the award ceremony for businesses elected for excellence in the Humanities Park in Douliu City. In aims to showcase the results of the year-round hard work, there will be a series of great performances. The award ceremony (businesses of excellent this year include bakeries, frozen deserts, oil product of quality, soybean sauce of quality) will invite the businesses of excellence this year, and quality food information will be available to the public through showcasing booths.
The carnival will be hosted in hope to raise the participation level, sense of honor, and exposure for business owners. It is encouraged for the public to recognize the medal of excellence and compare before shopping, in order to raise the safety and hygiene of food.
