Change of address of foreign workers must be reported! County Labor Department said that the employers must report to the local authority in paper to inform change of address of a foreign worker within 7 days of change. Labor Department pointed out that the Council of Labor Affairs (now the Ministry of Labor) announced on March 9th 99th year an amendment to reference for terminating the recruiting permit and hiring permit, Article 72 under Second Category Foreign Worker Employment Service Law. Under the amended, failure to notify the change will be subject to termination of employer’s permit to hire foreign workers on a 1 to 1 ratio.

Failure to report change of accommodation address due to caregiver’s change of address or re-assignment of factory is subject to a fine between NTD 60,000 to 300,000 under the provision of the Employment Service Law, and the termination of recruiting permit.
