2012 Yunlin Job Fair was held at Yunlin junior high school on morning Mar. 17th. There were 37 companies, including Formosa Advanced Technologies (福懋科技), set up booths in the fair, with total of 1030 position available. The job fair attracted many people to participate in the interview. Hsu YiFeng (許義豐), the County Secretary-General, visited the site to encourage job seekers and express his appreciation on the participating companies.
The County Secretary-General Hsu YiFeng, the Director of Labor Affairs Department Chang CheCheng (張哲誠), the Acting Director of Economic Affairs Department Chang ShihChung (張世忠), Director of Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Employment Service Center Shih ChenYang (施貞仰), and Chief of Douliu Employment Services Station Hu JuiChuan (胡瑞娟) visited the fair and paid tribute to the public.
Secretary-General Hsu said people should encourage and support each other during this difficult time. Taiwan’s economy is export-oriented, the global economy depression has serious impact on Taiwan’s economy. Taiwan’s government will create job opportunities with private sectors, and help the unemployed overcome this difficulty.
Secretary-General Hsu thanked the 37 companies release more than 1,000 job opportunities. He hopes the job seekers will successfully get employed. He also suggests that people should seek stable job first, before seeking better job.
The fair was crowd with people who seek job opportunity. Ministry of National Defense also set up a booth for recruitment. Ministry of National Defense hopes that young people can join the army, which not only can defend the country, also a stable job.
In the Job Fair, there were 37 participating companies, which includes, Formosa Advanced Technologies, Cheng Shin Tire (正新輪胎), #6 Naphtha Cracker Plant of Formosa Petrochemical (台塑六輕), Dah San Electric Wire & Cable (大山電線電纜), and Ihara Furnace (井原築爐). 1032 job opportunities were released during the fair.
