Yunlin County Police Volunteer Association held the inauguration ceremony on 26/11 at the police department office, by the Chairman Zhou Xihong and jointly with the Chief Police Secretary Cai Chunfu, the event was a huge success.
Since established in 1998, the number of volunteers in the Yunlin Police Volunteer Association has increased to more than 480 people, including one Director, four Vice-presidents, six Squadron leaders, and more than 60 advisors. It can be said that it is one of the countys largest organizations, and certainly plays an important role in cases of shortage of police force.
As the association develops larger and further, various parties have come to recognize its impact and its effort devoted to the society. When Chief Police Officer Huang heard that the association has no office yet, he has instructed related units to search for a suitable location, and finally designated the area in the back of the volunteer service counter to be the office of the association, and booked 26/11 to be the opening ceremony.
