Bulletin of the Environmental Protection Administration informs that 12/3 to 12/4 will be subject to the northeast monsoon, and high wind speed in coastal areas will lead to serious surface dust. There could be foreign contaminants passing, and bring impact to the county air quality.

Yunlin County Environmental Protection Acting Commissioner Zhang Qiaowei said that the impact is expected to take place from 12/3 to 12/4 December. The EPA will continue to monitor the situation and act correspondingly to the changes in air quality. Announcement will be made through the EPA website, cable television and other media for updates. The residents should pay close attention to it.

The EPA again reminds people who are highly sensitive to air quality change, people with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, the elderly and children, not to conduct strenuous activities outside when suspended particles index is higher than 7.
