Yunlin County is a big agricultural county, to ensure that the legitimate use of agricultural land, maintaining food safety and sustainable use of land resources. Regarding the illegal use of agricultural land, such as the use of illegal factories, illegal dumping of waste soil, gravel, cement and bricks, without formal application to privately lay cement roads, build houses and other illegal issues. The relevant authorities (units) of county government will have the following treatments.
According to the regional planning law, in accordance with the 21st Article, people who use the land and violate the first paragraph of 15th Article, the Land Administration Department of county government punishes starting from NT$ 60,000, and up to NT$300,000 fine, and it is continuous punishment.
For illegal agricultural land in the county, the Tax Bureau will change the land value tax class, and the owner shall not enjoy preferential benefit of tax while agricultural land is transferred.
The user fails to plan for agricultural facilities, the Agriculture Department of county government shall abolish its use and transfer the issues to construction management agencies to deal with.
The Land Administration Department declares, avoiding disadvantageous punishment, the land owner or manager, please maintain the legitimate use of agricultural land to ensure sustainable use of land and resources.
