To response the call of Rural Renewal Project, women in Wukuai Community, Yuanchang Township did their best to marketing their community to public. They dance and introduce the features of Wukuai Community to the audience in Xinyi Elementary School on, Sept.8. Villagers who attend the activity said that with everyones effort it feels like they brought Brazil carnival to their township and they love their community.
Ying-yuan Li, Member of Legislative Yuan, Si-bing Li, Mayor of Yuanchang Township, Mei-rong Li, Chief of Staff of Farmers Association and Ma-li Huang, board director of Wukuai Community also attend the activity. They share the stories, sorrows and happiness of making the community great. Si-bin Li, Mayor of Yuanchang township, indicates that the community did a great job, they attract visitors from all over Taiwan to make their township more visible to the rest of Taiwan public.
Ying-yuan Li, Member of Legislative Yuan, said that the community is home to everyone living there, it needs a lot of attention from its members and with help of every member in the community the community could become the paradigm of running a successful community.
Planning Department of Yunlin County Government indicates that Yunlin County is the top one county in implement rural renewal project in Taiwan. This honor should be attributed to each community in our county. As agriculture expo is approaching, every community should work harder and show the public culture behind agriculture.
