Soft Launch Day 2- Crowds flooded Expo Park. Single Day

Having 17,000 people on the first day, 2013 Yunlin Agriculture Expo had a whelming amount

of 40,000 visitors on the 2nd day of soft launch. Yunlin locals showed great support to the Expo.

Yunlin County officials said: "the soft launch was a heavy responsibility and test, which allowed

the development team to discover various issues and tasks, and especially we were able to run a

test on a rainy weather like today (15th)."

After 17,000 visitors on Day 1, crowds flooded the Expo Park on Day 2.

The Expo had a 2-day soft opening, but the total visitors surpassed 57,000. Despite of the

intensity of stress for the Expo employees, Yunlin County Government was impressed and

encouraged by the significant number of visits. A married couple from Douliu even came over

for a wedding photo shoot. The government especially expressed appreciation.

"Upon seeing every exhibition, I learn a ton of eco-friendly knowledge. Ive had a plenty of

imported goods, but after knowing their environmental harm, Ive decided to eat local foods as

a way to make up one more percent. Im very pleased and thankful for their effort." according to

Mrs. Chang, a local visitor.

Many Comments appeared on the social mediums. Some think the traffic was not bad. It was

planned better than other cities have. "Because this is the first gigantic event in Yunlin, issues

and concerns are unavoidable" mentioned internet blogger Zhong. "Agriculture Expo showcases

Yunlin peoples passion and capability for such a large event. Im proud to be a part of Yunlin!"

said Miss. Li.

2-Day soft opening had over 57,000 attendees. Workers were stressed out, but encouraged.

Someone applauded for the Expo bulletin workers and said:"County Government ads are so

thought-provoking. We see your endeavor. Go, Agriculture Expo! Go, Yunlin!" And another

person showed great enthusiasm to a sales person. "Love Taiwan is to love agriculture. To

understand farmers hard work, one must visit the Agriculture Expo." said Mr. Li. "For the first

time, Yunlin has an event this size. Issues are unavoidable. Its like holding one local lantern

festival or New Years countdown after another until more improvements are made." Liao said.

"Numerous flaws surfaced on the 15th. People have given valuable feedbacks, and surely we

are going to make changes and improvements before the 25th grand opening." Said County

Government.
