Disregarding from traveling from miles away, four Agriculture Expo volunteers from Tainan, , persisted being Yunlin "volunteers", which touched many of the Expo visitors. Mayor Su said: "1022 Expo volunteers, like 1022 cogs and pieces in a plane, play very important roles. The Expo could not run without them. When people see their effort and service, they keen to give applauses and cheers."
"Agriculture Expo volunteers did great jobs to provide Chinese and Taiwanese tour guide and other services, in despite of hot or rainy weather. These anonymous patriots built the Expo with amaze and hope." said mayor Su
Volunteer Qui-Qin Cai said: "Waking up every 5am, 3 other volunteers and I travel in the dawn from Tainan to Yunlin. Though it is always a long travel, gradually we forget about the tiredness, as being a volunteer is one of the most precious blessings to ones soul and body. "
Volunteer Su-Bi Chen expressed: "I strongly agree the Expo ideology on land usage that teaches folks how to save energy and water. Although traveling 300km back and forth is quite a task, being able to volunteer at an event like this is a bliss, an enrichment to the soul."
Mei-Hua Chang said: "The establishment of Taiwan is based on agriculture therefore Taiwan cannot exist without it. A great deal of the contribution comes from our farmers. The Expo brings the chain-relationship of people, land, and crops to visitors, further showing the hopeful future of the agriculture business.
Volunteer Su-Bi Chen, Qui-Qin Cai, Mei-Hua Chang, Xiu-Zu Xie are all from Tainan. Every Thursday and Sunday morning, they depart from Tainan, arrive at the park, stand in front of the entrance, and kindly greet the visitors. Their hard work shows tremendous amount of love and patience.
