Shalunhou Village, Mailiao Township was invaded by stinkbug, and it deals no harm to
human beings. The stinkbug is classified under NYsuys sp. and only feed on plants/grass.
The national record of similar scenario had happened all over Taiwan, and showed that
the similar breed type bug will only reproduce on weeds as well as give up cultivations
resulting them invading agricultural land surrounding property. Animal and Plant Disease
Control Centre of Yunlin county advice the give up cultivation land owner to keep the
surrounding environment neat and tidy.
