Response to Labor Hiring in Sixth Naphtha Crackers

After accepting resident’s report in illegal foreign labor force, county government

started the investigation immediately, and required Formosa Plastic Cooperation for

foreign labor files who work in 97 enterprises in Sixth Naphtha Crackers. The county

government will send the investigation result to the Ministry of Labor to ask the

appropriation of the labor hiring.

During the investigation, the enterprises wondered the detail of the labor law and

tried to explain that the labor problem doesn’t exist. In fact, the county government

had announced the related information several times, and asked Sixth Naphtha

Crackers to follow the rules. After all, the county government started the checking

plan to avoid illegal hiring.
