Collaborating with Fuzhi and Foundation, Yunlin County Government Enlarges

The most important and vital hub of producing agricultural goods are located at

Yunlin County. Questionably, goods that were whether made healthy were

crucial against food providers; therefore planning by the Government, 800 acres

of organic land that enhanced the quality of agriculture is needed. Additionally

to its project, the Government has promptly induced training programs that

further strengthen the agriculture development. It has extended the organic land

to over 300 acres at Yunlin by the end of 2014.

To support the interior agriculture development in the County, Magistrate Lee

Chinyung visited Fuzhi Educational Organization and Tse-Xin Organic

Agriculture Foundation on the 23rd of March and learned about their experience

in agriculture, hoping to work collaboratively to enlarge the territory of

agriculture.

Further mentioned by him, the organic agriculture project has been effective.

Local farmers have shown their old believes by treating the environment more

friendly and by moving towards a safe and long-lasting organic agriculture

system. It is suggested that consumers would show support by purchasing more

agriculture goods.

Fuzhi campus includes both junior and senior high, and its core concept

“environment and academic” shapes the mind set of better educational

environment that balance the nature of academy. The campus provides a total of

120 acres of organic land allowing students to learn as an intern, mentioned by

the Fuzhi Educational Organization of Chief Executive Cheng Yaohui.

Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture Foundation of Chief Executive Su Murong points

the concept which includes living, production, ecology, and life. These core

concepts then teach the residents to value heavily on their health and to restore

the naturalism by living with the nature itself. The field, which includes green

house building, organic fertilizing, and other green environment, provides a new

life for generations.

The County Government has been collaborating with Fuzhi and Tse-Xin for

many years. Working to plant trees at Taixi, assisting plant trees festival at

Xiluo, and many large events such as agriculture expo in early years are

examples of both parties working closely together.

The organic land at Yunlin is far reached from the goal of 800 acres of land. The

Government could certainly learn the experience and apply methods from the

Fuzhi Educational Organization to strengthen agriculture industry and farmers

training programs. Yunlin County Government continually wishes to

collaborate with Fuzhi and Tse-Xin or other non-profit organizations to further

enlarge the organic agriculture territory, said by the Yunlin Magistrate Lee Chinyung.
