Establishing Social Responsibility: Hiring the Disables

To ensure their rights and to prevent job disadvantages for those disables, Yunlin County Government filed no. 38 “the rights for the disables”. In public organizations, every 34 workforce should have a minimum of one disable employer; every 67 workforce will have at least one disable employer in private firms. Additional charges will be added to it as one does not abide by the rule.

During Magistrate Lee’s term, he encouraged both private and public institutions to employ those disables to further reduce their career difficulty and to protect their rights by offering the “Award of Good-Work Performance for the Disables”. Public and private organizations, that achieve the hiring percentile for the disable employees up to five and three percents, could apply the award from the Department of Labor. Non-profit organization that is up to two percents could also apply. The process of the ceremony award will be held on the 1st-20th of May annually.

The award not only induces the hiring rates of the disables from every entrepreneur but the society at large also builds a better image and social responsibility, ensuring stability for the right of the disables. Yunlin County Government welcomes all public, private, and non-profit organizations to support and build a better society together.
