Phase II of rice cultivation has gradually entered the harvest period, please pay special attention to the pesticide residue issue in the later stage of cultivation. The county government urges farmers to use the recommended pesticides that provide shorter harvesting window of safety, and to dilute the pesticides as instructed to prevent leaving excess residue.
Farmers may contact the agricultural pesticide residue-testing lab to find out more about the residue situation and to get reference for harvesting.
