Any properties under taxpayers’ name is due for seizure in case of delayed tax payment

Yunlin County Government News Reference 104.12.7

Recently, people who owe license tax have received notice from the executive branch of administrations to seize their real estate properties, and questioned if delay payment for license tax is only subject to enforcement on vehicles.

The Yunlin County Revenue Department said that as long as the taxpayer does not pay tax within 30 days, any property owned by the taxpayers would be subject to seizure or impoundment by the taxing authority. It does not limit to only the property against which the tax is owed upon, but any other properties owned by the taxpayer.

The Revenue Department reminds taxpayers to make payment on time after the tax bill is received, to avoid law enforcement and hurt their interests.
