Yunlin County Government News Reference 104.12.25
To improve the landscape of the county, the county Water Resources Department organized the sewer manhole cover pattern design contest in effort to beautify the local street scene, while keeping the functionality, through participations of the residents.
The contest was held in between 1/11~30/11 104th year, during which 326 pieces of contestant from Huwei Township and 287 pieces from Beigang were collected. The Water Resources Department appreciates the hyper participation in this contest. To ensure that the finalists are not only practical but artistically appealing, all entries had to qualify for two rounds of selection before making debut to the judges for the final voting. The competitions were fierce.
The result of the "2015 Yunlin County sewer manhole cover pattern design" contest was announced on 25/12 via the county website, while the award ceremony date will be notified to the winners at a later date and also available on the county website.
