Yunlin County Council Hall, under the push of Mr. CHANG, Rong-Wei, the County Magistrate and Mr. CHEN, Cing-siou, the Speaker of County Council, was completed and started using on September 27, 2001.
The County Council Hall is a grandiose new building. The area of session room is 1,090 m2 and is the most spacious one as compared with other county/city councils’. There is a 4,000 m2 "Democracy Square" in front of the County Council Hall that is a good place for public outdoor meetings and activities of county council.
It has become an important landmark of Yunlin County and many people come here for a visit since its completion.
