As the transportation hub of Yunlin County, Dounan Township connects with National Highway No. 1 Dounan Interchange, Provincial Highway 1, Provincial Highway 1A, and North-South railway lines. For east-west transportation, Dounan also has Route 158 and 158A running from East to West, connecting coastal and mountain townships. To meet the needs of the development of Sixth Naphtha Cracking Factory and Offshore Industrial Park, the Government built the East-West expressway from Gukeng to Taixi. Dounan is the key transportation hub and the most important gateway to Yunlin. It’s called the window of Yunlin.
