Yunlin County has been trying its best to upgrade both quality and quantity of large-scale hospitals in several townships and rural townships. Right now there are Yunlin Hospital, Department of Health, Executive Yuan, Beigang Matzu Hospital, Catholic Jose Hospital, Douliou General Hospital, and Military Hospital to provide the medical services in the county. In addition to all these hospitals, Huwei Branch of National Taiwan University Hospital and Mailiao Branch of Changgeng Hospital construction plans have been approved by Department of Health. National Taiwan University Hospital and Yunlin Hospital have signed the cooperation agreement to help Yunlin Hospital upgrading their service. The medical group, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staffs from National Taiwan University Hospital have moved to Yunlin Hospital to provide good health-care and treatment to county residents.
