Magistrate Su participated in local raised cattle promotion tasting, emphasizing the zero toxicant detection standards ensure healthy diet

To minimize the impact of the leanness enhanced cattle imported from U.S. and promote local raised cattle, Yunlin County Government counseling Dounan Township Farmer’s Association and Taiwan Beef Store together host local raised cattle promotion tasting event on March 18. Magistrate Ms. Su Chih-Fen accompanied by Deputy Magistrate Mr. Shi Ke-He and Legislator Mr. Li Ying-Yuan, Director-general Agriculture Department Mr. Lu Zheng-Chang declared county government’s “zero toxicant detection” standard to ensure local healthy diet, and boost local agriculture and livestock products purchasing.
 
The cattle promotion food tasting attracted hundreds of visitors. Event organizer also invited renowned chef to demonstrate homemade style beef dishes. Cattle themed quiz activity was available for the visitors, and price money was given out for the winners to multiply the fun.
