2013 Taiwan Coffee Festival will start on Nov. 2. Culture Department held the press release for this event at Huashan coffee park, Gukeng Township. Xian-fei Yang, the deputy director of Culture Department and Hui-ru Lin, the Township Mayor of Gukeng Township attended the press release and inaugurate street graffiti. They invited coffee fans and leisure activity to join the activity, to find out more from Gukeng Coffee and experience the season of coffee.
Xian-fei also indicated that as a 11 years old event, Taiwan Coffee Festival has became a great event for coffee fans. This year, in addition to Huashan elementary school and Hebao workstation they extended the event to Huashan coffee boulevard. The government hope tourists can get in touch with Gukeng coffee industry closely. This series of event will starts with a grass land concert on Nov. 2 and other events will be held weekly for the entire November. They encourage citizens to visit the Taiwan Coffee Carnival, Taiwan College of Coffee History and Taiwan College of Agriculture and get to know Taiwan coffee better.
This year, Taiwan Coffee Festival incorporate with People, land, corp the core concept of agriculture expo, 2013 and moved their main exhibition area to Gukeng boulevard so that they can enjoy the views and get to know Taiwan Coffee better. Taiwan Coffee Carnival will provide Coffee Coupon, invite artist, organize coffee market and Design College of Yunlin Technology University all of these worked together to finish grand graffiti on coffee street and Coffee Industry Owner competition.
Huashan elementary school will be the main exhibiting area of Taiwan College of Coffee, they will provide hand-picked and fresh brewed coffee. The tour guide will lead the guests through the Story of coffee, Baking of coffee, Beverage from God and DIY your coffee souvenir. Other than these event, the will also hold coffee baking competition and little master of coffee competition as limited experience. If youre interested in these events please come earlier. In Hebao workstation of Gukeng flora park there will be tours about Coffee History and Culture.
The grass land concert will be held on 3:30 pm, Nov. 2 at Gukeng green tunnel. That day, theyll invite indoor string orchestra, Jalen Hsiao the singer and Mountain & River Music. The event will also give out 200 sets of soap bubble toy kit and original Gukeng coffee. The famous theme park, Jan Fu Sun, also invite visitors to visit their theme park for free. Theyll have experience activity and performance.
Culture Department, Yunlin County Government indicates that, as a 11 years old festival, Taiwan Coffee Festival selected Huashan Boulevard to held Taiwan Coffee Carnival in order to fully extend the depth and breadth. They are going to merge coffee, literature, story, atmosphere and local business to build up an enjoyable area and making coffee festival a great activity to enjoy with you and your family. Theyre expecting this event will change tourists perspective to Gukeng Coffee and reinforce the Gukeng Coffee brand.
