On 23 Jan., Taiwan HSR (High Speed Rail) Yunlin Station celebrated its upper beam installation. Chih-feng Su, the Magistrate of Yunlin County indicates that HSR Yunlin Station is what citizens in Yunlin were craving for for past few years, now its finally going to come true. The HSR Yunlin Station will abbreviate the distance between urban area and rural area cause great effect to Yunlin County. Now, Yunlin will run on the rail that leads to the rest of the world.
County Magistrate Chih-feng Su,Vice minister of Ministry of Transportation and Communication Zhi-gu Fan, Council Speaker Jin-huang Su, Taiwan HSR chairperson Jin-de Ou and elected representative attended the ceremony on 23. They screw the beam and wished the construction to be successful.
Chih-feng Su said that this project is the largest transportation construction project supported by central government for past few decades. Once they finish the construction of Yunlin Station, itll bring Yunlin different vision, appearance and become the most important landmark, portal and transportation hub.
Jin-de Ou, said that since 15 Jan. 2013, the date when they started to construct Yunlin Station, every related construction project is going on well as planned. Till now, the construction is 35.07% completed. After its done on June of 2015, the station will soon be inspected and operate. By that time, itll provide convenient, comfortable and safe in city service to citizens of Yunlin County.
HSR Yunlin Station was designed by Renxi Yao, a famous architect from Yuanda architecture design studio. In the design of the station, it uses a lot of local images, including tiger stripes from Huwei and cloud pattern from Yunlin. The wildly use of grass land and woody plant makes the passenger have local and special Yunlin experience.
