The county tree of Yunlin Country is Camphor Tree. It is an evergreen arbor. The whole tree has camphor fragrance. The leaves have long stalks in pairs. The tree is tall, very stylish. The trunk is clean with irregular lines. It is the most famous native tree in Taiwan and can be found any mountain area in Taiwan under 2000 meters of elevation. Camphor tree has many branches made the tree crown one on top of the other and it is a good noise barrier. It can resist high air pollution. It always riches in green that makes it the best tree to plant at the sections with heavy traffic.
